Normally, our baptisms are held inside the church at our beautiful Baptismal font. Clairissa's baptism, however, was unique in that it took place outside during our annual Outdoor service and Church Picnic.
Claire has come to Calvary with her grandmother for many years. At Calvary's Sports Camp this July, Claire requested baptism. Although we enjoyed a very warm week, Sunday was a cool, misty day. Baptism is God's action of using water and God's Word to mark a person as God's child.
