There was another amazing gift waiting for me when I returned from Christmas vacation. The Stewardship Team’s nomination forms from the congregation. This year the tithe from Calvary's offerings is being given to those ministries that the congregation, as a whole, selects. Usually ministries are shared with the Stewardship team and the decision is made by the team.
As I began looking through the nomination forms I would research and dig into each ministry. I studied their goals and mission statements, enjoyed pictures and read about events. I was very impressed and blessed by that process. The chance to understand and get to know more about these ministries also gave me insight into the places where people are willing to sacrifice their time and energy for the sake of serving those in need.
The Stewardship Team is hoping that members will have a similar experience to mine. I everyone to look through all of these ministries and discover something you didn’t know, be inspired by these ministries! The great thing is that your personal giving can be shaped by this experience. Will you support one of the ministries directly?
